Understanding Yadkin County Releases
A release entry ends one recorded custody episode. It does not always mean the person is free of all custody or legal control. The order date, jail departure time, and SAVAN notice time may differ. Administrative processing accounts for some gaps. State the source with the time rather than blending all three into one claim.

No universal Yadkin jail-record or booking-photo price was verified. Ask for a current estimate. North Carolina law generally limits ordinary uncertified-copy charges to actual reproduction cost, unless another law controls, and permits a reasonable charge for extensive use of technology or labor. The county's recommended budget for fiscal year 2025/26 says a long-serving third-party coordinator ended that role on June 30, 2024. The county assumed the service on July 1, 2024, evaluating jailed defendants for possible supervised release while their cases awaited court.
A later proposed budget showed elimination of the dedicated program line. Current operation and contacts must therefore be verified before anyone relies on that route. Yadkin Release Orders in District 34
Yadkin County sits in Judicial District 34. Its local rules and forms page includes a district pretrial release and bail policy. When a name is no longer found in jail information, the Clerk of Superior Court and magistrate routes can help identify the bond order, judgment, dismissal, or other legal event.
The roles remain distinct. A court document explains the legal authority, but the Sheriff's record establishes actual physical departure from Yadkin detention. The state-operated Yadkin Correctional Center is a different institution. DAC lists it as closed in September 1999. It is not a current release desk.
